Wednesday.

Just thought I’d have a quick update before we loose our internet. Apparently our internet ends today, which means another 15 minutes of having one. After that we’ll have to wait till Friday, that’s like the day after tomorrow before we get our new Sky internet! One whole day without internet at home, oh my. Thank god I got Uni and then we’re going to the gym for another class of kick boxing. I tell you, kick boxing workout is murder, yet fun! Also thank god for unlimited texts and free internet on my phone.

Yesterday me and some other people from my class had a photo shoot to make a calender, which was really fun. We did get some good pictures in the end, tho it seems as only the pictures of me are the ones we’re done with. The others wanna re-shoot theirs or they haven’t even taken them already. It was kinda weird getting into my underwear at Uni, but it was actually quite the confidence booster, I must say my class mates are good with compliments. Cat, a lovely girl in my class even told me I had the most perfect teeth she’d ever seen.

Just thought I’d give you guys a sneak peek as to what the pictures look like, please give me feedback, we want this calender to be as good as possible!

The born model right? lol

The born model right? lol

Other than that, going to see All Time Low on Friday, can’t wait, gonna be ace!
Met up with Mr Lovah Lovah last night, went loads better than I thought, but now feel like a shitty friend because of it.

Enjoy your internet people, one day you can wake up to find out it’s gone!!

Win win win… make up! Yes, please.

Another Norwegian entry I’m afraid. You see, one of Norways best bloggers are hosting a contest, it’s make up and I’m drooling at the sight of the prize. Therefor I have to join in, that’s a given. Might not have the biggest chance of winning, but I find it easier winning a contest if you actually enter it!

I waaaaant!

I waaaaant!

Utvalget i øyeskygger finner du HER. Herregud hvor vanskelig det skulle være å velge ut 10 av de.

Har du vett, bli med du og!

Monday.

In lack of wanting to rant on about my feelings at the moment, as I am confused enough myself, no need to confuse you guys as well, I chose to copy this list thing from the gorgeous Astrid Katrine. I have translated it to English, for my lovely non-Norwegian readers. Am I not just ever so kind?

Ten firsts
First best friend: Ida
First crush: This boy nicknamed Calle waaaay back in kindergarten.
First favorite book: That must have been a series of books by the author Staron Slamon, that I got through a book club I was in, TL-Klubben. I don’t know what the books are originally called, but in Norwegian they were called “Overnattingsgjengen”. I loved those books I did.
First pet: Never had one.
First holiday: My mum and dad brought me to Sweden in a caravan when I was just a few weeks old.
First job: Like a proper one would be cleaning a garage.
First love: The first one I’ve been anywhere near in love with must be Henry.
First piercing: In my ears.
First dress: No idea.
First concert: Another no idea. Seriously, I can’t remember stuff like that.

Nine lasts:
Last drink with alcohol: Believe it or not, but I think it’s beer! :O
Last trip in a car: Don’t think I’ve been in a car since Towers took me and Ida to Ikea, weeks ago that is.
Last movie I watched: Saw “The Ugly Truth” earlier tonight. Cute.
Last phonecall: To my mummy last night, singing the birthday song for her, made her start crying that did. Bless.
Last song I listened to: The Party Scene – All Time Low.
Last kiss: -
Last friend I saw: Ida.
Last time I cried: Just over a week ago.
Last meal: Some scrambled eggs.

Eight have I ever:
Fallen for a friend: Yes.
Driven a car: Sort of.
Slept under a tree: Not sure.
Been heartbroken: Yes.
Made a prank call: Yes.
Said I love you without meaning it: Yes.
Written a poem: Yes, some terrible ones.
Been to Australia: No.

Seven things I am wearing right now:
1. Bra
2. String
3. Night shorts
4. Morning gown
5. Glasses
6. Lip-ring
7. Hair clip

Six things I have done today:
1. Been to the gym
2. Showered
3. Seen a movie
4. Made food
5. Eaten food
6. Walked around in underwear

Five favorite items:
1. My camera
2. Macbook
3. Phone
4. Dresses
5. Make up

Four people who truly knows me:
1. Meself
2. Ida
3. Camilla
4. -

Three choices:
Winter and summer or fall and spring? Fall and spring
Flowers or bushes? Bushes obviously! Haha
Sugar or salt? Sugar

Two things I have to do before I die:
1. Find true love.
2. See places.

One thing I want more than anything else:
To be happily in love for once.

Now you give it a go!

Sunday.

I am sat at the library on a bloody Sunday, trying to be a good student. The fact that I am writing a blog entry, should show you just how good I am. Ops! But it is hard to get going, especially when you don’t really know what you are suppose to do. I’ve got a few magazines resting ever so nicely beside me, even a book has made it to the pile. Research might just be the most boring thing in the universe. It does have some hard competition, with stuff like cleaning, tidying, queueing and waiting for food, still it manages to get right at the top, and therefor officially (on my blog at least) be crowned as the most boring thing. In the universe. Ever.

As you might see I have changed my banner again, got sick of the old one, like I tend to become. Also I figured I needed something to suit the season more, as summer sure is over for now. The banner kinda reflects upon how my life is nowadays, I’m sure living life as a student. Ever since me and Ida got back to Wolverhampton, we have been out drinking every weekend, most of them being both Friday and Saturday. We weren’t half bad this weekend tho, we stayed home last night watching a film and just being lazy. Friday I was drunk. Like really good drunk, the best since we got back really. Not the drunkest, but the best.

We went by ASDA on our way home from town, drunk and happy, me running over to this Halloween decoration butler dolly, that’s like life size, and I started talking to it. What I hadn’t expected was for it to actually answer me, so when it did I screamed, and almost fell to the floor. Proper scared me it did, but hell it was funny. I then had a longer conversation with one of the guys working in ASDA, about cheese. Fun times.

Anyway, I should get back to some uni work, or should I rather say start some uni work.

Btw; It proper annoys me that Wolverhampton gets a red, dotted line underneath the word, it is a town after all! And a football team! Just like Manchester, Liverpool and Wigan. Ooh just realized Wigan also gets a red, dotted line, so it’s not all that bad.

My ass has become a part of the bed I swear!

I am utterly bored of being sick, I hate bad nights sleep because of coughing, I hate the elephant that has crawled up my nose and I hate feeling super lazy for staying in bed all day.

Besides that, yesterday was really good. I had such a great time at uni, except from the boooooring lecture we had. The fun part was hanging out with other people from my class, planning a project we’re gonna do. Getting to know each other better, hanging out over some lunch, chatting to some I hardly talked to last year. I really enjoy being in this class, we are a very great bunch of individuals.

Then last night me and Ida went in to Birmingham for a concert, The Used. I’m very pleased with the set as they played my two favorites, got me singing too much, me with a sore throat and husky voice. Didn’t do me much good, but hey, I had to enjoy it the best I could!

Atm I’m home alone, Ida is off being all effective, having had a work out and then going to the library to do some kick-ass uniwork. I have had a shower then been to ASDA to take out money. Ate some food and is now sitting in my bed listening to Cheryl Cole’s new single and is actually loving it.

What do you think?

Exhausted

The last blog entry was indeed written in Norwegian, like some of you have commented on. Don’t worry, this will not happen often, this time was kind of a one time off kinda thing, it just fitted better with what I felt and what I wanted to say.

It’s been a crazy time for me, physically and mentally really. Been out drinking, handling things very badly, and then been awfully hungover and now I have also caught a nasty cold. Karma’s a bitch, I deserve feeling like shit.

Fuck everything has to be so difficult.

Going through the motions

Jeg vil ha pappa her til å handle Cola og langang til meg slik han bruker å gjøre når lille-jenta hans er syk.
Jeg vil ha en mamma-klem.

So not ready for this!

It is now 2 hours till I got to be at Uni for our welcome back meeting blahblah, which means that today the summer is officially over for me. Even tho it feels like I’ve had time off for ages, which I have, it also kinda feels like we just split up for the summer. Very strange and mixed feeling. I am not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet, but there is no way around it really, so I just have to suck it up and deal with it. I guess it will be good getting back into some sort of routine, and actually have stuff to do. I just need to be better this year, especially when it comes to the research part. I hate doing research, scanning the odd-smelling library for books to use when I don’t even really know how to use them. I can complain as much as I like, but it is got to be done unfortunately. Back to Uni would mean less;

Drinking...

Drinking...

..clubbing..

..clubbing..

..shopping sprees...

..and spontaneous trips

While it would however mean more;

London Baby!

Renate, that would be me, and Ida, that would be IdaPida, took the tut-tut-train down to London Baby on Tuesday, for a few days of complete and utter randomness. On the day of our arrival the sun was shining bright in the sky, it was real summer temperature, what a great start. After some walking here, then some walking there we finally found the hostel we had booked for our stay. Obviously we had not booked the entire hostel for the two of us, but a room more like. After some undressing in the heat, we headed out into the big city to meet up with Erika, such a lovely, lovely girl we finally had the chance to meet. The three of us got ourselves a cooling frap from Starbucks each and walked over to this park thingy I can’t remember the name of, that was located right next to the London Eye. When bums started to fall asleep from sitting on the green gras, we walked to Leicester Square, where we had dinner at Wagamamas. I thought I did a splendid job eating with the chopsticks, until Ida told me I was supposed to break them apart. So doing that, made the eating part a hell of a lot harder. But in the end I had managed to get it all down in me tummy, and it was very yummy. After being fed we walked over to Soho where we had a drink, me and Ida had a mojito each while Erika enjoyed a cold beer. It was then time to say goodbye to Mrs Jones, hugs and smiles we parted, me and Ida walking by a Nordic Bar (Go Scandinavians!) on our way back to the hostel, where we of course had to enjoy a kopparberg. Okay then, three. Someone got rather tipsy, who that someone was is left for you to guess. I must say out of the decorations in the Nordic bar, the british people seem to think we celebrate christmas all year through. I told them we didn’t.

The next day we got up early. Had a nice little breakie at the hostel before taking the underground to Victoria, and the Apollo Victoria Theatre to buy tickets to go see Wicked the musical. And tickets we indeed got, front row ones for the afternoon performance. With a few hours to kill before the show, we explored the area around Victoria. We enjoyed mango-passion fruit juice and paninis, walked around the shops we could find nearby,  for example Topshop where we tried some pretty cool shoes, tho the heels would kill.

2:30 PM and it was time to go see Wicked, making our way front row we felt supercool, not gonna lie. The theatre was a lot smaller than what I had imagined, so we got proper close to the stage and more than once could I feel the cast make eye contact with me. Obviously, this could be me being paranoid, but I choose to believe this was the case. The performance was nothing but extraordinary, could not take my eyes off the stage and what was happening, goosebumps the entire show through from the amazing singing. Alexia did such a great job being Elpheba, and oh my if I could sing like her, I would be one very, very happy girl. So if you have not seen Wicked, it is highly recommended, go see it!

After the musical had finished, we walked through Hyde Park on our way back to Oxford Street. Nice little park there with some cute jumpiethingies (aka squirrels). We were meant to be shopping in Oxford Street, obviously, but sorry, London baby just ain’t Wolverhampton. Ended up with a tiny bag from H&M. Todays dinner were found at this restaurant called Spaghetti House, ironically neither me or Ida had spaghetti.

The last day spent in London baby were also a warm, sunny day, the perfect setting of a perfect end to our lovely getaway. It started off with breakfast at the hostel before we checked out and headed for Oxford street to do some shopping. Not that we were much better today when it came to that, I did end up with a little bag from La Senza tho, after getting a discount after a bra size fitting session. I was just between a 32 and a 34 (some would say I’m then a 33) so using a 34 was correct of me, yay go me. Tho I was a cup size bigger than I thought, not that I mind, I’ve always wanted bigger boobs haha. After walking here and there, store to store it was time for what may have been the biggest highlight of the trip. No we didn’t run into one of the McFly guys, nor did we book a job in Wicked, but it was just as good, cause James came in to London baby to see us! We went to Starbucks right away for lunch, I had my mocha frap, Ida and James had their caramel light frappes, we talked about pretty much everything, from McFly to life in the wilderness. We then stroddled off down to the Thames and the London Eye, me and James not nervous about going on a wheel that takes us up way hight just by the water, so we would most likely die if it fell over, no not at all. Ida on the other hand was shaking… (Did anyone believe that?) But fear not, we did indeed survive, it was not actually scary once we were up there. I guess I just felt safe knowing James was there to look after us. Evening time we took our dear to the Nordic Bar, as he loves us Scandinavians and everything that has anything to do with that. We had swedish meatballs, mash and gravy with lingonberry jam. Yum. And kopparberg of course. Awesome company, awesome food, perfect ending.

Check out my photography blog as well HERE for more London pictures.

Today and then tomorrow..

It has been amazing weather in the West Midlands today, sunny and warm. This fact surprising both me and Ida, where we were walking around town, sorting out stuff. First we went by the finance building at the University of Wolverhampton, paying some tuition fees, something that really hurt my bank account, it is now in fact crying. Then we went by the international office and sorted out some other stuff, before heading to the library where we booked the hostel for tomorrow. You see, we’re heading down south, to the wonderful city of London. A few days getaway, gonna be ‘aze no doubt. So if I’m not around online much these next few days, you know why. Will be back sometime on Thursday, expect a wicked update about our trip.

Enjoying awesome summerlike weather...

Btw, I have added a few photos to my photography blog, photos I took today around in my gorgeous second hometown that is Wolverhampton.

And with that, there’s only one thing to say;

London baby!

Oh and yeah, I was gonna go to bed way earlier, but because of our rather sucky internet, writing this blog entry took me like 7 years or so to finish…
