Back at the library….

I’m back at the library, which obviously means blog writing time. It is not the worst thing to do tho, it gets my brain going, I guess you could call it a warm up exercise before the actual uni work. I am very determined to get something done today, ’cause I HAVE to get something done today. What I need to do is;

• Transfer notes from notebook to my sketchbook
• Do some research around those notes
• Plan my website

And that’s what I can be arsed to do today. Hopefully I will be able to get a lot of that done before my Steven ♥ turns up at the library and distracts me. That kind of distraction is very much allowed tho.

Yeah, I should get working, can’t say I look forwards to it, but it has to be done.

Friends and work and such

Thursday night IdaPida, Ida and meself drove out to Levanger to visit my sister Monica and her boyfriend Erlend. You know, for a last little get together before me and IdaPida head back to Wolves on Tuesday. I even brought Erlend a birthday pressie, seeing as it is his birthday TODAY(!), and I had no idea that the family are gonna go see them tomorrow to celebrate. My parents don’t tell me shit. So for me it turned out it wouldn’t be the last time I saw them before I leave afterall, but for Ida this was the case. Had a proper nice time with pizzas and candy (once again too bloody much), while watching a rather amusing film called My Best Friend’s Girl. I found it funny at least, laughing pretty much throughout the film. I blame the sugar for my awfully happiness, tho being happy is a good thing ain’t it. Then Monica had a picture show for us, showing us photos from her and Camilla’s trip to Rhodes. Seemed like a nice little holiday there, but it was no Egypt.. Haha.

Yesterdee was my last day at work, so we had a proper nice lunch with muffins that Christine made, apple cake of my creation and sandwiches that our boss had paid for. I am not sure I have fully realized I’m not going back there in quite some time, that I don’t have to get up early Monday morning and put on my ugly, blue work clothes. As of now, it feels like weekend. And just that. But reality is I’m unemployed. 12 weeks of my summer, that place have pretty much been my summer. Weird. But glad to be done, and to go back being a student.

Now when I have posted this blog entry, I’m gonna start packing. Well I did start last Saturday, but nothing since that. So yes, it’s time to get a bit organized, my room looks like a disaster, so tidying is well needed and should come hand in hand with the packing. Music on loud and not too shabby weather outside my window should make this fun. Yes, I’m gonna enjoy this!

But before then I just had to show you all my new headwear that the lovely, stunningly beautiful Ida made for me. It was kinda hard taking a picture of me wearing it just on the go here, this was the best I could do right now. She’s a talented little strikker that Ida^^

Just a short one before work

It seems as tho my photography contest was a big hit, so I will keep them coming every now and then, so stay tuned and don’t miss out on my next one. You were all top league, so it is completely open who’s gonna win the next one, I don’t do favorites. Thank you for showing an interest in it, makes me feel jolly good.

I didn’t like going back on my word though about the time of announcing the winner, but I had no choice. Well, I did, but I chose to prioritize something else but my life on this blog. You see, a couple of days ago this free magazine (Krash) that is based around Wolverhampton, contacted me on my Deviantart profile, asking me if I wanted to contribute to their magazine. They wanted some of my work that I would like to feature plus some words to go with it. This would be a good chance to get some positive PR, free PR even. I could not let this opportunity go by without even giving it a chance. So I went home earlier than usual from work yesterday, to try and write something worth reading. You see, they gave me a deadline till Wednesday AM. Which is now. I got my article done, sent it off along with a bunch of my photos, so now I just have to wait and see if it was any good. If they don’t like it, they don’t have to use it. Fingers crossed tho!

I was also considering posting what I wrote here on my blog for you to read, if anyone is interested. But I promise, it’s not very interesting nor is it anything worth wasting your time on. But I like the pictures if I may say so myself.

I need to go brush my teeth and I think my scooter is almost out of gas, so stuff to do before work, talk laters.

Btw; It’s now less than 2 weeks till we go back to Wolves, and exactly 2 weeks till Lostprophets! Excited much?!

Oh those lovely mornings!

I’ve been nothing but a huge smile these two last mornings at work. I don’t really tend to be the happiest little cheery that early having to clean houses and oldies, but I can’t help grinning when the days starts with gorgeous morning sun. Last morning I even went out photographing before work. This around 06:30 am and believe me, that doesn’t happen often!

Finally some Summer again!! Just hoping it’ll last through the weekend so I can enjoy it more. I’m off for an early nighter for once, tweet tweet.

Life is sweet

Yesterday I finally got some proper quality time with my ever so missed best friend Ida after I was done at work. I made some lovely Tikka Masala for dinner, we both got proper full from that. Then we surfed the net, to try find some good deals on trips to Paris, planning on going before Uni starts. But we would have to pay way too much money we really can’t afford to spend, so we threw away that idea. For now. So now it’s London calling, which should be pretty good as well. Never done the London Apple before, so this time we kinda have to!

After that was “sorted” we drove into town to buy chocolate cake, ended up with donuts, fruit and chocolate which we melted when we got home. A nice dip for the fruit, and yes. I ate too much. We ended the night recording ourselves singing, something we haven’t done in complete ages! Was a good night, and now she’s away on a tiny trip to be the audience for a TV show and see A1 perform, while I’m stuck at home working and like I am atm, sat on the balcony at home in my bikini.. It’s bloody awesome weather!!!

Failure!

I was gonna write a nice little add about what I’ve been up to lately, pictures in hand and everything. But guess what? I’m too tired! Working Monday till Friday is bloody hard, especially for someone like me who’s used to only working Tuesdays till Fridays. One extra day might not seem like a lot, but believe me, it is. I got the feeling the weekend would never come, but now when it’s finally here and I can stay up late cause no work tomorrow, I’m too tired for a proper add and seriously considering going to bed. Already!

Work, food, love & lust

Today at work was awful. Well not awful really, but stressful none the less, and omg how happy I am about the fact of it now being weekend. Mondays off at work ain’t happening no more, so this weekend will go by like shoooosh, and before I know it I’ll be back to cleaning houses and oldies. Ironic yay there. But at least there’s only 4 weeks left working, before I can hand in my ugly, blue uniform and say adios for now, that will be a good day. A very good day.

After work was good tho, drove my lovely scooter to Levanger to visit Monica and Erlend. We went to a chinese restaurant for dinner, had some great food, which after we were too full to be true, to make it better we then went by the store to buy snacks for later. Played some Mario Cart Wii before watching 17 Again, while stuffing in on chips and chocolate.

Sighs...

Tomorrow it’s July 25th, meaning it’s exactly a month left here up north. A month from now, August 24th I’ll be a mess, stressing around to make sure I’ve packed everything, and knowing myself I’ll still be packing at this hour of the day. I’m lazy when it comes to cleaning and packing. Oh how I can’t wait to get started tho, I’m loving it. I fear I’ve got way too much stuff to bring back to Wolves, loads more than when I first moved there!!

Oh how I miss my town...

Last thing I’m gonna mention in this wicked blog entry, is that before christmas I’m gonna get to see not 1, not 2 but 4! of my fave bands live! That’s what I call good times. Not for my bank account tho.. Wops!

What is the cruelest, most evilistic creature on this earth? Is it the frightening white shark, or maybe the innocent looking, yet dangerous hippo? No my friend, the most horrific thing ever made from gods hands or evolution, depends what you believe in, is and will always be birds! They might seem perfectly harmless, stupid even, but no don’t be fooled. They are nothing but sneaky little devils, targeting in on their next victim. They can feel your fear, they get some sort of sick joy out of seeing you being miserable. Circling over your head while making those awful sounds they make, just waiting till you are left alone, with no one to protect you, they shoot.

They want me.. Dead or alive, I swear!

You think I’m exaggerating? Then you try walking around a whole day at work with bird poop in your hair!

Work and such

Today has been a good day. Not an amazing, perfect day tho cause that would involve me + a certain someone somewhere hot and exotic, making it even hotter with our activities there. Volleyball obviously.

But yeah, so today was my first day at work, I am a home help, that is directly translated from the Norwegian name for it, hjemmehjelp. Basically, I clean and tidy and help old people with stuff, while they offer me coffee every 5 minute. Might not be my dream job, but it’ll do for the summer. Money is money right? Besides, I do get to wear a killer work uniform.

Other than that it’s been a real missing him day today, well after I came home from work anyway. It sucks. Big time. Gah, I hate it tbh, everything is just so messed up. But on the good page, it’s less than 2 weeks till Egypt!
